A.C.E. Program Description

The program is designed to challenge and accelerate your child to a higher level of thinking.  My goal is to help our student improve their standardized scores and perhaps increase their chance to earn a high school scholarship.  The emphasis of A.C.E. will be to improve study skills techniques, which will help to familiarize your child with the comprehensive questions that are found on standardized test.  The highlights of this program are Science Concepts, Math Computations and Advanced Reading programs which will enhance Comprehension, Vocabulary and Language Skills.  The Moderators for this program will be Mr. Burger, Miss Zittel, and Mr. Cacicia. This program is FREE OF CHARGE and is offer once a week.

Mrs. Di Leo and the 6, 7, 8 grade teachers must nominate a student for this after school program.  Student should be able to:

• Display leadership qualities
• Maintain a 90% and above average
• Display above average ability in reading
• Show consistency in Math Computations
• Exhibit an over-all interest in school
• Shows respect for teachers & classmates
